“A couple of years ago, a technician from Illiana advised he discovered cracks in my heat exchanger on a furnace that was just 3 years old. Photos alleged to depict that, and it was suggested to purchase a new furnace. I had just purchased a new furnace for my main, and this other furnace is for an addition, so I was in disbelief that this 3-year old furnace was damaged. Fast forward to a few weeks ago, and I had a technician come out to clean and check my main furnace. Kentrell was that technician, and he performed that service. I inquired about the second furnace to see if he was able to check on it as well since I have a maintenance plan. He advised his work order only showed 1 furnace, but he agreed to check the other furnace out. I hovered because of my concern for this furnace, and he could not find any cracks. His willingness to check, and spend the time investigating was great customer service! He made phone calls to the office to update them about this, and he said the G.M. was going to send another technician out to confirm whether or not there were cracks. Jerry B came out to check it out and confirmed that he could not find the cracks depicted in the original photos. I was then contacted by the office to schedule the maintenance cleaning for this 2nd furnace and was advised that Kentrell would be back to perform that service.
Kentrell is a great young man with a willingness to seek the truth for my benefit, and he deserves to be recognized and given his bonus compensation!”
